Last updated: 29 July 2026 · Applies to this website (cdsoft.co.za)

1. Who we are

CDSoft (Pty) Ltd (Registration No. 2023/618547/07) is a South African private company. For the personal information handled through this website we are the responsible party under the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA).

Information Officer: Brent Greeff — brent@cdsoft.co.za .

2. Scope

This notice covers this website only. Our products — Hassle Bot, smorg, gigz and permz — each have their own privacy policy that governs the personal information they collect.

3. What this website collects

cdsoft.co.za is an informational website. It does not run user accounts, and you do not need to provide any personal information to browse it. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking, and we do not set tracking cookies.

4. Contacting us

If you email us at brent@cdsoft.co.za, we process the email address and message you send us for the sole purpose of responding to your enquiry. We keep such correspondence only as long as needed to deal with it and for our records.

5. Hosting and technical data

The website is served by our hosting provider (Vercel). As part of serving any website, the hosting infrastructure may process limited technical information — such as your IP address and browser type — in server logs for security, abuse prevention and reliability. This is not used for tracking, profiling or analytics.

6. Cross-border processing

Our hosting provider operates servers outside South Africa, so this technical information may be processed abroad. This is permitted under POPIA Chapter 9 where the recipient is subject to adequate protection obligations.

7. Your rights under POPIA

You have the right to access, correct or delete personal information we hold about you, to object to processing, and to lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator at inforegulator.org.za. To exercise any of these rights, contact the Information Officer above. We will respond within 30 days.

8. Data breaches

If a security compromise affects your personal information, we will notify you and the Information Regulator as soon as reasonably possible, as required by POPIA (section 22).

9. Access to records (PAIA)

For how to request access to records CDSoft holds — including the applicable PAIA forms and fees — see our PAIA Manual.

10. Changes

If we make material changes to this notice, we will update the date above and publish the revised version on this page.
